Fybroids

I had a private 8 week scan last week and the sonographer mentioned that I have a small fybroid.

She didn't seem too concerned but did say that pregnancy hormones can encourage growth.

Anyone else had any experience with this and do I need to be worried about possible complications?

I had a fibroid discovered in very early pregnancy (had internal scan to see why I wasn’t getting pregnant had just found out I was!) it grew in pregnancy every time I saw a midwife I would tell them what they felt on the left wasn’t the baby. I had other complications not due to this so had my baby at 36wks he’s all fine. Where mine was did mean my womb wasn’t round as the fibroid encroached into it and this may have restricted the growth.
