Hiya guys I'm just wondering is there anyone that has gone through ectopic surgury? I had mine 2 weeks ago left tube taken out now on my left side it's like a pain that keeps coming and going just like it did before the surgury in so confused is there anyone else that has been through this I'm getting so stressed my boobs are really sore just feel like I want to curl up in a ball and be left alone

I had my left tube removed following a rupture in September. It’s rough.
I’d recommend searching Facebook groups - ectopic pregnancy support and when the time comes TTC after ectopic pregnancy. There are many super knowledgeable ladies on there.

I have never had “ovulation pain” before my ectopic. But I had it every month since on the side the tube was removed and around my period as well. They say it’s common in the early days due to scar tissue and everything healing, but if you’re unsure about anything, hound your GP or EPU and check with them. I kind of took what they were saying at face value before I was diagnosed. (They told me I was miscarrying and it would hurt and I would bleed - and I took their word for it). But in hindsight, I wished I’d followed my instincts and pushed them more

I had 2 ectopics and lost both tubes - the first couple of ovulations after surgery were more painful definitely - remember the area is still healing and could take a few weeks/couple of months to feel "normal"

Hey, I was wondering how long it took you ladies to recover. I had my left tube removed on 23rd Aug and I’m still in pain on the left side and also the left side of my pelvis. Also still don’t have my appetite back since the surgery and have stomach issues aswell, whole thing has been awful. We tried to have sex for the first time again last week and I bled lightly for 2 days after and was internally so sore again. Worries me as I was told the recovery would take a month at longest x
