Heavy Bleeding, tests getting stronger

Hi everyone, I’m new to this but was wondering what similar experiences people have had and the outcomes....

I’ve just gone through my second round of IVF and on day 12 of the 2ww I had a strong positive test but then started spotting. The bleeding got heavier over the next 4 days and then on the 5th day suddenly stopped completely, I’ve now had a day of no bleeding at all. During the first few days of bleeding I had some tissue clots as well but nothing huge. The weird thing is that over these days my tests have been getting stronger and stronger. The clinic have told me I need to wait it out and see how it goes and I have my 7 week scan booked in for 22nd June.
So I am just wondering whether people have had successful pregnancies with the same situation or whether it’s likely to be a MC. Just so I can prepare myself for what could be.

Congrats! Did they only implant 1 embryo or 2? There is always a very slim change that you MC'd 1, and the other is carrying on. When I had IVF, I was told you are more likely to have spotting early on. No idea why though. At least the bleeding has stopped. best of luck x

Thank you! It such a confusing time. They only implanted 1. But I’m a twin and my age range is more prone to twins so I was thinking it could be twins and maybe one has gone?
