Really dizzy - 11 weeks

I’m 12 weeks on Friday. Dizziness suddenly came on late afternoon and is still the same now at 9 o’clock.
I’ve had plenty to drink. I’ve eaten. I’m not overheated and I’m taking pregnacare, which has iron in it. I’ve not been out in the sun. I’ve been lying down for several hours.

My plan is to get some sleep now but if I still feel like this tomorrow, what should I do? Call GP or midwife? Or do you just wait for it to pass. I’ve never had dizziness in pregnancy before. Thanks.

Always get checked out if you're worried, but if it helps, I was really dizzy through most of both of my pregnancies. It was (very) low blood pressure in my case. The midwife said they were only interested in high BP, and to avoid any situation where I could fall (my job often requires ladders and working platforms, so all that had to stop. Even standing on a small step). I found making sure I drank plenty of water and being exceptionally careful when getting up out of bed/chairs or off the floor helped. It has been quite a change in temperature to adjust to, so I'd double check you're drinking enough. You would have needed much more today than would have been required a week ago. I have always suffered with low BP so try to be careful, but even I got caught out with the temp change at the end of last week (not currently pg though). I got up from sitting on the floor and nearly fell straight down again! A large glass of water and 15mins, and I was back to normal.
