I had it with all 4dc! 1st dc i didnt get it til 37 weeks, i felt fine but you usually do with pre eclampsia. They started me off 3 days later as no symptons went away. With my other 3 dc i was in and out of hospital like a yo yo but never developed proper pre eclampsia. Blood pressure kept going up then going back to normal, protein in wee kept coming and going also. Just go with the flow, don't worry, they'll look after you.

I had pre-eclampsia in my first (and so far only!) pregnancy. I think it's rare to get it in the third if you have been clear so far. If you do develop pe they will monitor you closely (bp, urine and probably blood) and might admit you if your symptoms get more severe. There is no cure except delivery, but they can give you medication for the high bp if necessary. If it gets so bad that it is making you very ill, the doctors will decide when the risk of the baby being born is less than the risk to your health, and might induce you early. Don't forget to keep an eye out for all pe symptoms such as pain just under your ribs, sudden swelling and visual disturbances. Good luck, I hope it comes to nothing!
