Sore Vulva

ConfusedConfused
Sorry if TMI but this last week I have had a really sore vulva/labia.
I'm 15 weeks but had had SPD symptoms since 12 weeks, physio thinks due to arthritis and already having unstable hips?
But this last week I have almost felt bruised down below, it hurts sitting on hard surfaces etc

Has anyone else experienced anything like this Blush

Have you experienced any other symptoms alongside? Different discharge, itchiness etc? May be thrush if that is the case.

I have had this with my PGP / SPD

I have heard it can affect the perineum but I literally feel like my vagina hurts sometimes

It started more on the pubic bone but is now lower down (I'm nearly 35 weeks)

I am regularly tested for UTIs too

The pain is more around the front area, like where I would pee from and it hurts more from sitting down

I had a lot of issues down there in the back end of pregnancy with our twins, the sheer weight of them lead to lots of swelling etc. Having spd just added to it all. Try a cool pack for it, the gel ones you can pop in the fridge/freezer.

I'm 29wk and I have spd again (I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in 2017 too), I declined a physio referral last week. Still powerlifting in the gym and my hips actually feel better after a session, that goes against all advice I could find online.

Sounds like possible thrush to me. Pregnancy thrush doesn’t often cause the same symptoms as it does when you’re not pregnant so definitely don’t discount it! I had thrush and had barely any of the usual symptoms.
Other than that, could just be a result of increased blood flow maybe?
