Hello all, I have just found out I am pregnant and will be expecting late jan/early feb.

After suffering 2 miscarriages in the past year, as much as I am excited, I am riddled with anxiety that something will go wrong again!

I wanted to reach out to any other women who have recently found out they are expecting so we can go through this anxious wait for our 12 week scans together ❤️

Sending love and luck to you all xx

Congratulations! Everything crossed for this pregnancy for you 🤞🏻

I'm not quite as late as you although very much hoping my 30th December due date can hold off for an extra week or 2 (I totally know I'll be saying the opposite when that time comes though!)

@Sagitarrius1 Hey lovely! Congratulations!

I am currently 5+2 and due on 30th Jan 2022, so similar sort of time. This will be my first, so I am also eagerly awaiting that 12wk scan (although I have booked in an early reassurance scan for when I am 7wk4 also!)

I am so so sorry to hear of your previous MC Sad Flowers

@ApplePie86 thank you! Haha, I am sure you will! How are you feeling? Xx

@expectinglittlebear how amazing, we are very close indeed! I will definitely arrange an early scan around the 8 week mark too as that will break up the long wait for sure! How are you feeling? Xx

@Sagitarrius1 Cramping, IBS flare ups & constipation, nausea and fatigue. Also got a bout of thrush because of the hormone changes, so not great at the moment haha!

What about you? xx

ApplePie86 · 01/06/2021 16:08

@Sagitarrius1 I'm feeling relatively normal to be honest. I have little bits of "queasiness" but it's hardly noticeable and I only notice it because I know I'm pregnant (part of me thinks it's in my head 😂)

Only other thing I've noticed is I'm really tired so I go to bed at about 8pm and I get out of breath really quickly. I'd started doing 5km walks every single day and managed to start a little bit of running and felt great. Now I struggle to hold a conversation and am having to slow down (although it doesn't seem to be reflected in my heart rate according to Apple Watch which I find strange!)

Hope you're feeling good and no horrible symptoms!

@expectinglittlebear @ApplePie86 I am feeling pretty symptomless at the moment. With my last pregnancy the nausea kicked in around 5-6 weeks and was very bad, I actually ended up in hospital with hyperemisis gravidurum. I think they say if you suffer with one you are more likely to suffer again in future pregnancies so I am sure it won't be much longer before it arrives 😂

@Sagitarrius1 oh no, that sounds awful!! At the start I was hoping to feel sick and even wishing I would throw up just so I could "feel" pregnant but I'm kinda glad I seem to have had it easy (so far!)
