Hi!

Can anybody recommend a relatively cheap brand for the best maternity jeans? I don't want to be paying a lot given the amount of time I'll be wearing them.

I'm 16 weeks and my own don't fit anymore 😭 x

I got mine from New Look. Wasn't to badly priced. When I hit 20 weeks I lived in leggings

Chelyanne · 31/05/2021 18:11

I got some comfy over the bump ones from George @ Asda

GappyValley · 31/05/2021 18:11

H&M
They do over the bump and under the bump ones
Totally recommend the over the bump ones for winter but they aren’t great in the early days because you need a bump to hold them up, so they get all saggy crotch when you don’t have one

Twizbe · 31/05/2021 18:12

Another vote for H&M I really liked them and the skinny's were just long enough for me

georgarina · 31/05/2021 18:14

Got some from ASOS for £15 and I've been living in them

LemonLemonLemon · 31/05/2021 18:49

Third vote here for H&M over the bump ones. Lasted in those until about 38 weeks with my first

Chelsi001 · 31/05/2021 18:56

Im nearly 18weeks and my normal jeans dont fit me. I picked some over bump ones from H&M werent to badly priced and a nice fit.

What's great about h and m is they're one of the few places where you can buy in store as so much maternity wear is online only!
H and m feeding vest tops are great too.

They are. I'm still wearing them as vests almost a year after stopping breastfeeding
TooMinty · 31/05/2021 19:28

New Look and H&M. ASOS might have some?

Mummy2O · 31/05/2021 20:10

I really like TU at Sainsburys for their maternity jeans. I am a little on the short side though.

lboogy · 31/05/2021 20:14

eBay. Dotty P have brand new for less than £20

ElderMillennial · 31/05/2021 20:17

H&M MAMA skinny jeans, they are over bump

I've had the super skinny ones too, which are more like jeggings. I prefer the skinny ones

LemonDrizzles · 31/05/2021 20:31

I enjoyed my Dorothy Perkins over bump ones. I still wear them, quite comfy. Except no pockets

shivawn · 31/05/2021 22:27

I ordered a pair from Shein and 2 pairs from Topshop but I'm still only 21 weeks and not big enough to fit in to any of them yet. At the moment I just have one pair of regular non-maternity jeans from Bershka that still fit! Other than that one pair, I can only wear leggings.

mayihavesomecakeplease · 31/05/2021 22:43

Next under bump black skinny jeans have been great for work. H&m over bump are comfy but hot with the panel in this weather!

IeatPotNoodles · 31/05/2021 23:54

Love leggings jeggings/jeans are fantastic

TheGlitterFairy · 01/06/2021 08:59

Another vote for H&M over the bump jeans. Tried a few others and none as good as these. Bit short for my long legs (!) but given we’re in summer they look as though they’re cropped so it’s fine

Soverymuchfruit · 01/06/2021 12:09

If cheap is the main thing, you can get them 2nd hand on ebay for a fiver or so. Tick the "used" box on the side.

L1ttleb1t · 01/06/2021 16:41

Simply Be Erin jeggings - not maternity, however super stretchy and comfy like leggings but look like jeans.

OliviaL9530 · 02/06/2021 10:58

Thanks for all the responses!

I've ordered a few pairs from H&M as my local store doesn't have the maternity range but fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Has anyone got any straight leg or mom maternity jeans? I got skinny jeans from H&M and new look for last pregnancy which were both good but want another style - have seen nice ones in River Island but wondered if anyone had tried them and the fit is nice
