Hi I had my second dose was wondering if I can take paracetamol ? I'm 14 weeks pregnant and got told to take it as the side effects may be more than first dose and not to exceed 8 in 24 hours. Did any of you pregnant lady take paracetamol after vaccine ? I'm just a bit wary to take paracetamol but the dr advised at times of vaccine it's safe to take.

I wouldn't take them unless you got side effects tbh. You might not get any

Thanks for your reply I didn't get any side effects from the first dose just a dead arm for two days so don't want to take any pain killers for sake of it. Dr said if I get bad side effects to take it. I think I'll hold off taking it as I could be ok.

I took paracetamol a few hours after my first dose and then took it again the next day. I was fine after that so didn’t take any more. Lots of pregnant women I know took paracetamol before the vaccine just incase and my midwife said it was fine to do but I only wanted to take them if I needed them.
