Hello, its probably nothing but im 11 weeks pregnant and over the last week or so, my nausea and sore boobs have subsided and i have started getting the odd headache most days.

Last night i had some dull aches in my pelvis but it wasn't sore, just felt like there was something going on down there Grin !!

This morning, i had a lot of discharge ( which is nothing new) but when i wiped, i noticed some darkerdischarge. When i went to the toilet a little bit later, i noticed some light pink on the toilet tissue

I dont really feel pregnant but i know symptoms can come and go? My 12 week scan isnt until Thursday

Im pretty sure its nothing but might need some reassurance Smile

I’ve recently had the same experience at 8-9 weeks. My symptoms subsided and and I was spotting. I phoned EPU but had to wait a few days for a scan. Thankfully, the baby looked safe and happy in there, with a good heartbeat.

Most likely things are ok, but give EPU a shout if you need reassurance.

thank you for replying so quick Smile

yeah im trying not to worry and i know its probably nothing.

i had a viability scan at 7 weeks and everything was great and i konw chances of miscarriage decrease after seeing a heartbeat (hopefully thats true lol)

Im currently at work so i think i will disctract myself until at least afternoon and see how things are going then x

My symptoms left me with my twins at about 10 weeks. This is normal at times but please go the EPU too check about the spotting this could be completely normal but better safe and check it out xx

@francesca745

Just had a lovely re-assuring phonecall with a nurse at the EPU. She has told me not to worry but if things get worse, i have to phone back. My scan is 4 days away so just need to hold out till then.... then ill breathe Grin

I'm glad your call was reassuring.

I had the same experience as PP and I suddenly felt worryingly unpregnant at around 10-11 weeks, everything just stopped.

I suspect it coincided with my placenta kicking in as a nutrient source (so the baby wasn't feeding directly from my blood stream...or however it actually works).

With spotting, of course, good to speak to a professional. But it is also normal in a number of pregnancies.

@justhereforthecraic have you called the epu to mention the discharge?

In all overwhelming likelihood, everything is fine and baby ticking away.

I have two sides to this: my first pregnancy was a missed miscarriage and the baby died after seeing a heartbeat. However, my symptoms never went at all, right up until I had to end the pregnancy.

My second pregnancy with my now daughter, I had hardly any symptoms and they disappeared and came back fairly regularly - she's now asleep in her cot.

Moral of the story: lack of symptoms is not a sign of things going wrong.

I’m 11 weeks too (well, tomorrow) and I’ve also had dull headaches this week and most of my other symptoms have subsided.

My midwife said hormones peak in weeks 9 & 10 and then level out; so I think it’s just that. I’ve got just over a week until my 12 week scan.
