Placenta previa

I just wondered what other people's experience of placenta previa was?
I'm 29+5 with my placenta completely covering the OS.

I was admitted last night due to a small amount of red blood & as I was due to go home it happened again.
It's only a small amount when I wipe & nothing on my pad.
Did people tend to find once they'd bled they went on to have more?

Hiya

I had partial placenta previa and sailed through pregnancy until quite late on when I had a huge bleed at work. They’re probably not quite as concerned about a small bleed which can be for a number of reasons but with me I was then kept in for the last two weeks of my pregnancy and an elective section arranged at 38 weeks. The concern was more for me than baby in case of placenta abruption and loss of blood.

I’m not saying this to scare you, take your advice from the consultants as they know what they’re doing, but if the bleeding becomes more it might potentially end up in a hospital stay to be on the safe side xx

@Clarkey86 5 thank you, they've let me home now but I have to go back if it happens again
