Is it possible to feel movement at 11 weeks in second pregnancy?

I’m 11 weeks tomorrow. It’s actually my third pregnancy but the second was ectopic and I thought third pregnancy in the title might be confusing.

I felt definite movement in my first pregnancy at 17 weeks which I thought was pretty early, especially as I had an anterior placenta.

I’ve felt two distinct flutters today and I’m wondering if there’s any possibility that they are actually movements this early on?

It is possible.
I've felt all ours after the 1st around 11/12wk. Even current one with an anterior placenta I could feel at 12wk, movements were a lot less than the others until 20wk though.

I would think not they are so tiny then. Wind??

My first was at 16wks like bubbles popping to kicks at 18wks and u cld seen tummy moving at 19/20wks.

Second I def felt it at 11weeks and by 14 wks u cld actually see my tummy moving.

It could be, though I’m always a bit confused about this when it comes to discussion of movement. Wind just doesn’t feel like that to me. I have been much more sensitive since I had my DS and have felt things when I’ve not been pregnant but I understood them to be small muscle movements rather than wind. The only reason I wondered about it today is because it was a sort of feeling that made me stop what I’m doing and go ‘oh, what was that.’ I suppose there’s no way to know really until (fingers, toes and everything crossed) things become more regular and definite.

I'm 13+4 with my second and I'm absolutely sure I'm feeling movement. Just what I think is the odd somersault lol

I felt my second from 13 weeks. It was amazing. Smile

I’ve given birth 6 times. This is my 7th pregnancy and definitely recognise movements and felt this baby move at 10+4 days. I know a lot of people say it isn’t possible but it is- you know your body so trust it Smile

I’m 12 weeks with my third and I swear a day last week I felt something. But they are literally the size of a strawberry so I wasn’t sure but I guess it is possible if others have felt the same! ❤️ Hopefully a little nudge to let me know they are okay!

WaveAndShout · 28/05/2021 10:10

Yep! I felt movement in my second pregnancy ridiculously early.

BertieBotts · 28/05/2021 10:42

I felt my first and second at 12/13 weeks, third one some flutters at that point and then nothing until 17 weeks.

ActonBell · 28/05/2021 11:03

I really, really think I felt movement again this morning! So exciting!!!

I had a one off "fish flop" sensation at 10.5 weeks with dd, I remember, then nothing for a few more weeks. But it was so distinctive it was definitely her.

Okay - I’m freaking out a bit today. I’m nearly 12 weeks and you can see my stomach moving on the outside when I can feel the movements. I don’t get how this is possible. Honestly, my husband saw it and we are both amazed.

I’ve had two early scans so my dates can’t be that far out.
I’m trying to think it’s some weird muscle spasm in my stomach but it looks like kicks and it feels like kicks. What’s going on???!!!!

Yes I felt mien from about 12/13 weeks. The popping butterfly feeling is so unique it is hard to miss.

DinoHat · 02/06/2021 16:22

Congratulations! I definitely felt my second baby at 11 weeks. It was so clear I’m confident that’s what it was. I was lying on my side and think it was just pure luck and the position I was in. I didn’t feel much more until about 15-17 weeks.
