Did your big baby come early?

Scan today showed baby weighing 7lb 14oz (35+6 weeks), head was also very low down.

Consultant said to prepare in case she comes early (section booked for 39+6).

Having another growth scan in 2 weeks, if she's grown much more they said they will bring c section forward by a week or two.

Has anyone experienced this?

Nope.
Our 2nd was 4 weeks ahead on growth, labour started at 39+6 1cm dilated but he had to be given a push by having waters broken at 40+5. He was 10lb 12oz and I managed an unassisted VB with just 14mins, I was worried I'd need help so very pleased I didn't.
3rd was also bigger but she came at 40+2 after 2 days of contractions, 9lb 10oz and was just a few pushes.
Our twins were big too 17lb combined but were breech so brought by elcs at 38wk.
Got growth scan booked for this one just before 32wk so will see how big she is compared to the others, they've said they'll bring her early if she's bigger than the boy.

Nope had to be induced for dates at 42+3 she was 10lb6oz the next ones were slightly smaller still induced at 42 weeks 🙄

Mine was head down for weeks and was measuring big due to GD. Ended up induced at 38 weeks because he was measuring big, and he most certainly was not ready! :-/

Nope, DC1 was 10lb 3oz. Went into labour naturally on his due date.

Nope. 10 lbs 2oz and 2 weeks late. Full induction. He wasn't going anywhere without a shove.

My youngest who was scanning big came naturally at 42+4 at 7lbs 10ozs. I was expecting a giant baby by that point!.

Mine was 10lb 3oz and 3 days over due date. Totally unexpected as they predicted 8lbs 😬

Mine were small but I was a 10lb baby and I was 2 weeks late, my mum was induced.
