Hi. I had my screening test for Downs Syndrome, Edwards & Patau as am 14 weeks pregnant and the Downs Syndrome result came back as low risk but also at 1 in 170.

I was just wondering what other Mums to be results have been please and if I’m right to be concerned? Thank you

Is that the NHS test? I think the NHS one defines low risk a risk factor less than 1/150? So that would make you low risk? It’s not a particularly accurate test.

My first, I was rushed to fetal med as the sonographer was convinced the baby was hydropic and had multip organ failure, heart problems and or Down syndrome. I had NIPT testing done off the back of his report and my risk factor was less than 1:10,000. Shes nearly 2 and healthy, although the stress and trauma that sonographer caused had real consequences later on xx
