VQ scan at 31 weeks

Hi all,

Just wanted some advice we very confused... I have had a smooth pregnancy so far, went in for a routine appt last week and was kept back and sent to maternity triage due to a increased pulse rate (bp was normal), anyways had ecg and a load of blood work all came back normal. One of the consultants I saw told me I would most likely be asked to wear a heartbeat monitor for 24 hours and another I saw on the same day said I had a suspected blood clot in the lung due to the increased heart rate and has put me on blood thinner medication and requested a vq scan for Thursday. Since then my heart beat has been okay according to my watch (does go up to a 100 when walking around otherwise hovers around 95) which I would have thought is okay for pregnancy.

My question is it worth taking the risk of any harm to baby at the vq scan with the circumstances and has anyone had a similar experience?

I am due to see a consultant tomorrow so will also ask the same questions but am so worried just wanted to get any views at all.
