Feral movement and numb bump worries

Hi all, we had a scare yesterday after my partner (38 + 3) was sitting in an awkward position (sat down leaning bump on to thighs for about an hour because she was tired). When she sat up straight her bump felt numb and heavy.... baby was also completely quiet and wouldn’t respond - no resistance to pokes and prods or anything! We went to the ER for a kick count and fetal heart monitoring - thankfully all normal but I can’t help but think that baby could have been starved of oxygen or injured is some way...

Does anyone knows if bad posture or resting a bit of weight on bump for an hour can cause problems? Would a fetal heart scan be enough to rule anything out? Thanks all.

Did they say anything that could cause it when you went for your scan? Maybe ask your midwife. Glad everything is fine

No not really. They were fairly dismissive as the checks showed she was healthy, I’ll run it by the midwife next time I see her. Thanks 🤞
