Old wives tales FOR FUN

Does anyone know any old wives tales that would relate to if you're having a boy or girl?

Just want to have a bit of fun and try some out before my gender scan in 2 weeks

There's something called the salt test where you pee on salt or something (google it lol I forget), and if you handy a wedding ring on a chain it spins if a girl or sways if a boy (again, google it as it could be the other way round!) Dunno how useful that was 🤣

I apparently had all the signs of a girl - heart rate, sweet cravings, how I carried, weight in my bum, the Chinese signs etc and had a boy. I was pretty convinced as all the old wives tales intimated girl but!

I’ve heard one that says you feel more sick or get worse morning sickness with a girl due to their hormones or something? Either way total opposite for me, girl very mild nausea, boy constant nausea

If you get heartburn your baby will have lots of hair 😁

If you dtd right before or on your ovulation day, may be a boy, if several days before, it's likely a girl. Not an old wives tale perhaps, but existing increased likelihood due to differences in x and y sperm.
