Ftm Lost mucus plug and discharge

Tmi so sorry beforehand lol So I'm 40+4 with my first, I had a sweep Friday just gone and over the Saturday I was getting small amounts of pale pinkish jelly like mucus when I went to the bathroom I figured likely the mucus plug, followed by a much larger ammount on Saturday night, I lost some more small amounts over Sunday but this morning after a walk I noticed a small ammount of pale brown discharge on my pad it didnt appear to have any mucus in so I'm just wondering if anyone knows what it might be, I've heard that the plug can become a little watery so I'm thinking it's just that but wondered if anyone has had something similar happen, TIA

That’s how I lost mine. I went into labour about 24 hours later.
I did have sex to try and speed things up

I would ring the midwife just to check about the brown discharge, mucus plug sounds normal but they might want to check its not waters with meconium. Good luck, sounds like baby is very near x

Oh I hope so I'm sick of being pregnant by now and want to meet my little man 🥰 I've been trying to get through to the midwives for a couple hours but the line is always busy, though the discharge was a small amount and I havent had any more since so I'm hoping it's not waters since its stopped, thanks ladies!
