Early Scan

Hi All,

I had an early scan today due to some spotting, also had a private one just over a week ago, and saw a heartbeat, the yolk sac and everything you should. But the sonographer said she would have expected the embryo to have grown more by now. Going back for another scan in 2 weeks, has anyone got any positive stories of it turning out okay? x

How were you at first scan? And how far ‘should’ you be now?

And also what was the difference in measurement?
Is it a couple of days, a week etc

It's about 1 week and 1 day difference from when i had the private scan till today.

Was there still a heart beat?
Babies can catch up and your due date may vary slightly, but there is also a chance of not.

Hi @pamsoh. I had a positive outcome (so far).

I had a bleed around 8 weeks, no scan prior. I went to EPAU and they booked me in for a scan ten days later. I had brown spotting for up to 3 weeks, and I’m nearly 16 weeks now. So try to stay positive xx
