HCG plateau 6 weeks

Has anyone had ok rising HCG levels and then have them slow at 30000 or around the 6 week mark?

Last Tuesday - 21900
Thursday - 30200
Friday - 30600
Today Monday - 32300

I was sent for serial Hcg tests after a bleed last week (which has since stopped) and am worried that the numbers arn’t going up. I also had a scan on Friday where the fetal pole measured 6w 0d (6w 3d lmp) but the heart rate was only 97.

I just don’t know what to make of the slow rising numbers. My gp said it’s good they are still going up but they aren’t strong and that the heart rate is low.
I would love to hear stories of similar situations and if possible their outcomes

I had hcg tested at just before 6 weeks and it was 27,400 and repeated around a week later and they were 99000. The doctor did say that it gets to a point where the hcg levels off but I don't know when that is. Sorry that you're going through this and I'm sorry if I'm not much help but I didn't want to leave your post unanswered at such a worrying time x

I'm sorry. You would expect HCG to double in 48-72 hours.
It doesnt look promising - you would expect Mondays result to be more like 60000. And Tursday-Friday is a bit low on the increase as well.
I hope it's just a blip, and you get some answers soon. What is the next step? Rescan in a week?

Next step is another ultrasound tomorrow. I’m not sure if it makes a difference but I am still feeling very pregnant.

Well good luck with the scan tomorrow, at least you'll know either way then and won't be left wondering which is worse. Let us know how it goes x

Scan went ok today baby measured 6w4d and 6w5d (was hoping for 6w6d) and had a heart rate of 128bpm.
I can’t help but feel that the hcg is foreboding something else to come but very happy to see that flashing light.

That's amazing news! I think measurements can very so much but a beating heart is a really good sign! Fingers crossed for the next few weeks xx
