Nausea for the full pregnancy?

Is it common to experience nausea all the way through? I'm over 20 weeks and take medication but still have nausea every day.
Is it likely to last another 20 weeks or is that quite uncommon?

I vomited until after I'd given birth, with every pregnancy.

It's rare but it can happen.

Have you spoken to the doctor about medication?

I felt nauseous all the way through, twice - second time wasn't as bad though

whiteroseredrose · 23/05/2021 19:18

Me too. All day 'morning' sickness finished when I gave birth to DD.

Did you ever vomit or did it stay as nausea? How did you cope with it?

@Comeinoutoftherain I'm sorry to hear that Sad I am taking medication but it doesn't seem to help the nausea much x

I threw up every day until I gave birth.
It was bloody horrendous and is partly why I only have one

HappydaysArehere · 23/05/2021 19:39

Yep. Really bad for 6 months and morning sickness until I gave birth. Bonus didn’t put any weight on!

JustPinchanInch · 23/05/2021 19:40

I had terrible nausea, medication until I was around 26 weeks with a break until 38/39 weeks.
My nausea was so bad that even moving my head, looking at bright colours, going to the loo and brushing my teeth made me vomit unless I sipped water very slowly (even then I was frequently sick)

Hopefully when baby drops a bit your nausea may stop, it's truly awful but I did find travel sickness bands and ginger biscuits and flat coke made it a bit more bearable.

Wishing you all the best and congratulations!

I was given pregnancy safe anti nausea tablets that made me sleep all day!
