Bleeding :( please gelp

Hi mummas,

Want to share my story with you and see what you all think or have experienced.

I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago and since then it’s has been a whirl wind. I had bleeding (implantation) I think. When it lasted more than a few days I went to my GP who ordered bloods and they were doubling each second day.

The bleeding stopped but my GP also ordered an early ultrasound to check for ectopic pregnancy. This ultrasound showed nothing at all and perhaps I was too early or baby not developing.

By this time my GP had faxed my referral to my specialist who called me and ordered bloods my HCG had risen to 1500 but the following day I had spotting again so went to woman’s centre. They took bloods and in just 24 hours my HCG had almost doubled to 2770 they saw a gestational sac and a teeny tiny yolk sac and dated me at about 5wk 6 days.

Today ( 2 days later) I have blood spotting when I whipe really mild a little uncomfortable feeling after I pee no burning and have had a few streaks or red blood at the bottom of the toilet bowl.

I put on pant liner just to be sure but no blood on it at all and not a lot when I wipe at all. Very faint. No pain.

I have been sick the last few days coughing, sneezing etc.

What do you think? Has anyone been through this?

I had similar a bit further on and it was an ectropion on my cervix (harmless, common). Carried my son until we turfed him out via induction at 40+14, and he is a strapping and healthy 3 year old.

I know anything can happen but think your numbers look encouraging. Everything crossed for you.

I'm sorry op. I know how scary bleeding can be during your pregnancy.
I bled frequently throughout my pregnancy, at least once every month and my DD is now 2 and a half. I have everything crossed for you 🤞

I had spotting on 3 occasions around 5-6weeks and then a bleed at 9wks, currently 27 weeks and all going well so far 🙂

Op sounds like a silly questions but is it definitely coming from your vagina or could it be coming from your urethra (pee hole), I only ask as you say there's nothing on the liner but enough to leave a streak in the bottom of the loo xx

@Funauntienowmummytobe thanks for this, came on to see when OP was bleeding as I'm 9weeks today and had a bit of bleeding and started to worry. At the midwife tomorrow for my booking in, so will mention it there.

Your stories make me feel a little better.

I have an ultrasound booked in this afternoon to see what is going on.

The bleeding has stopped, no blood overnight. I’m so confused and scared because I want this soo much. Trying to be positive but not get my hopes up to much is a weird task to try and accomplish :(

It is a good sign the bleeding stopped 🙂 wishing you a reassuring scan later on! I had my first scan at 8wks (due to pain, not bleeding) and was worried how much could be seen as dates being a little out can make a big difference so early on. At least you'll have some news later on rather than being stuck in limbo. Good luck!
