Bleed at 11 weeks

I’m either 11 weeks 5 days(private scan date)or 11 weeks 2 days(nhs - 12 week scan on 2nd June) and yesterday I had a bleed. I rang 111 and they got me in to the EPU near my work in London. Baby is fine, heart rate was 171 and my cervix was closed. Today I have just brown blood. I had a huge fright, and the sonographer didnt really give me a reason for the bleed. Deep down I know baby is okay as this was 3rd scan and I’ve not really had bad cramping just what I’ve had before the bleed which I believe is my uterus stretching. The reason for my post is just to see if anyone has been in the same boat as me and just give me some positive stories. I’m so scared of losing this baby, I’m now scared to get excited about it. I was relaxing and getting excited before this all happened and now I feel like I’m back to square one!

I never post on here but I wanted to reassure you that the exact same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I had some brown blood on wiping so went for a private scan and all was OK, dated 11 + 3.
5 days later I had a bleed of bright red blood on a Friday night. I thought I had actually wet myself went to a&e and they told me they couldn't do anything so to wait for my dating scan on the Monday.
To my absolute shock everything was fine on the Monday, they could find no reason for the bleeding. The next few days after the bleed I was wiping brown every time I went to the toilet.
I'm now 14 weeks and everything seems OK. I felt like you up until the last few days, so much so I havent even told anyone I am pregnant.
I haven't bled since though so I'm just trying not to worry and enjoy it as much as I can. Hopefully in a few more weeks you'll feel the same

@Summer61 thank you so much for replying. I honestly really appreciate it. I’ve been having to the brown discharge too now. I’m really hoping it stops soon. I’m so pleased to hear everything has turned out well for you. Deep down I know everything will be okay but it just gave me such a fright as you can probably relate to! My scans on 2nd June - longest 9 days of my life I think 😂 wishing you a healthy pregnancy ❤️

Yes I did. I woke up in a puddle of blood at 11-12 weeks, then had another fairly heavy bleed at 15-16 weeks.
DC was fine and there was no known cause for the bleeding.

Could it be a subchorionic hematoma? It's basically a blood spot between the placenta and uterus. I had one of these and had lots of bright red blood that turned into brown spotting. I was just advised to take it easy and it would go away on its own, which it did.

Hey @nadsc old post I know but everything ok? I'm 11+1 literally just had a scan today due to a big bleed last night and still today baby is fine but no reason for the bleed x
