I'm due today with my 1st, and having a wobble.
I thought and done everything right - hardly put any weight on, in the gym up till 36 weeks, no aches and pains - but I've ended up with high blood sugar, extra scans due to poor growth, what looks like a huge diastasis recti, and will probably end up being induced. I'll have to wear a mask to give birth, those are the rules here (not UK). I get 4 months maternity leave, but it'll be too hot to leave our living room which is the only place we have air con, so I've effectively extended lockdown for myself. My family are 1000km away.
I currently can't see anything good about having a baby (yes, I realise I should have thought of this 9 months ago...). Can anyone send any positive thoughts?
