I just wondered if anyone was in a similar position. I'm 28 weeks after a long time TTC.

I have complete placenta previa, which seems unlikely to move. I've been paranoid about bleed since 20 weeks.

I have gestational diabetes (diagnosed last Friday) and started insulin today. I've also had borderline hypertension since 20 weeks.

Today I went for a growth scan which was perfect but my BP was 155/110, I also had protein, leukocytes, blood and ketones in my urine. My BP came down after a while & the test for pre- eclampsia (PIGF) came back okay. From reading up I think this is just for now and not the rest of your pregnancy? They sent me home and said they'll be in touch one my other urine sample and bloods are back, but I haven't heard anything.

I just can't help but feel overwhelmed with it all and after today I feel really worried. Has anyone else been in a similar situation?

Hi, I'm on the same boat so no advice, I'm 31 weeks, and my blood pressure has always been up and down, I was having weekly growth scans for 3 weeks there, but babies are fine but they put me on labetol to try and take my blood pressure down, that didn't work so last week I was sent home with a blood pressure monitor and urine dipsticks which I have to check every morning and ring in with my readings. BP is still high but I've had no protein in my urine. Maybe they could do something like this for you too? I even finished work up this week earlier than i wanted just so I can chill and work on bringing this BP down.

Thank you @kerbearr I hope you're doing okay now?

My BP came down in the day unit and was around 120 the 3 times they did it. Thing is it's never been that low. I'm worrying because they just said they'll ring me once my bloods are back but didn't. So I just feel in limbo till my next appointment
