Hi ladies so I've had a very rocky start with this pregnancy, I had an early scan due to concerns of ectopic. I'm supposed to be around 8 weeks according to LMP but I'm actually around 6 weeks. I had a scan on Monday which showed fetal bradycardia (low heart rate) and was measuring 5 weeks and 6 days. I have been bleeding when I wipe since yesterday morning, I have had none on my pad at all but every time I wipe there's quite a bit of light pink blood on the tissue every time. I can not get to the EPU as I am away. Has anyone bled at 6 weeks and gone on to have healthy pregnancy's or is this looking like the begging of a miscarriage? Please help and thank you x

I've had bleeding at 6 weeks in 3 pregnancies, 1 went on to miscarry but not until later on and after that set of bleeding had stopped.

Do you still have other pregnancy "symptoms"? If so that's a good sign

@User0ne so sorry to hear that
I have felt a tiny bit nauseated today but that's about it

I had a but of bleeding too at 7 weeks - mostly more like spotting as opposed to any substantial blood. I went for my 12 week scan this week and all is well, although baby is measuring two weeks behind but sonographer said healthy strong heart beat and active baby so had no concerns. She's only recalled me for a 2nd scan 2 weeks later as couldn't do the screening on small baby.

My mum reassured me a lot at the time as I was convinced something was wrong, but she said she had bled a number of times in her pregnancy when she carried me.

From my research into this when it was happening to me there were both positive qnd negative stories. So it can go either way. The midwife I spoke to in a panic said if I wasn't experiencing pain and such that was a good thing - which I wasn't fortunately.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you OP that all remains well xx

@Taenia thank you, it seems to be worse this morning but it's still only when I wipe, there's a couple of drops on the pad but it's mostly while I wipe xx
