Feeling sick all the way through?

I'm 21 weeks almost and have felt sick all the way through this pregnancy. I have days where I don't feel it as much and can eat ok and bloody awful days where I can barely eat, sleep or drink. I've been given anti sickness tablets but they don't help the nausea really.
Did anyone else have this? Did it ease off as the pregnancy progressed? October seems like a lifetime away and I'm not sure I can handle this much longer..

@brighterdaysaheadplease you have my full sympathies. I feel similar, I'm 19+6 and been really nauseous and retch most days and am still throwing up. My last pregnancy was not like this, had nausea in the first trimester but never actually was sick and nausea eased in 2nd trimester. Hope we both feel better very soon.

Ahh I'm sorry to hear this. Have you got any medication? x

@brighterdaysaheadplease - I could’ve wrote this. I’m 21 weeks and absolutely wondering the same thing, will I feel like this throughout? I’m due just before you and still haven’t felt that burst of energy yet x

When are you due? I'm due 2nd October. Are you feeling nauseous all the time too? It's soul destroying isn't it x

I'm sorry to say I was sick every day of my second pregnancy. It was hell. The day of his birth was amazing though, for all the normal reasons but also because I felt so well. It's 3 years ago and I still remember I ate a BLT, a full family sized bag of Haribo, got husband to being in McDonald's, etc etc. I ate for hours and it was amazing. 😂. All I can say is you have my sympathy but it is worth it. He's the cutest little 3 year old now, lights up my days.

@brighterdaysaheadplease absolutely soul destroying, I’m due end of September. Nausea is still going strong and it started at 5 weeks. I’ve really lost hope that it’ll go away because with my previous pregnancies it left at 14 weeks and 17 weeks x

28.5 weeks and still throwing up and have a lot of nausea too, but not as constant as it was. I think that’s the unluckily minority though! It’s entirely individual how long it lasts.

Have you spoke to any Drs to see if you can be prescribed something?

Hope it passes for you!

Inmypjsagain · 21/05/2021 13:51

Sorry I should have prescribed something specifically for anti nausea!

Yes still suffering from nausea and throwing up most mornings and every now and then will have a few days of throwing up in the afternoon despite taking medication 3 times a day. Will be 29 weeks tomorrow and I'm now resigned to it lasting until the end Sad also had this with my last pregnancy along with tons of excess saliva with thankfully I don't have this time.

@brighterdaysaheadplease I don't have any medication for it. I'm too scared to take anything ......... had 2 miscarriages before I had DD so anxiety is at an all time high. I've heard so many stories of women having it way worse than me so I'm just trying to muddle through. I am wondering whether being exhausted isn't helping, DD is 15 months so I'm not able to rest as much as I did with her. I started being sick on her 1st birthday.
