I'm not normally one to wish time away but this is winding me up 🤣 I just want to get to 12 weeks already!!
I have final uni assignments to do, I can't for the life of me concentrate, time just seems to be dragging!

I'm so worried about the worst case scenarios, I can't stop panicking!
I just wish I could fall asleep and wake up at 12 weeks 😩

It feels like the Longest trimester, definitely but I think that’s because of all the nerves and anxiety’s until the 12 week scan. Then the rest flys by. How far along are you OP?

j3llybean · 21/05/2021 05:39

I feel exactly the same way! I just want to get to the scan and find out/make sure everything is okay. I also really want to tell my friends.

Yip I felt like that too! I counted down every hour of every day til that 12 week scan and it was booked for when I was nearly 13 weeks based on what they’d said at the early scan. They ended up putting me back a few days in dates when I went for it though. Soon as it was over time just seemed to speed up. I’m so glad it was during lockdown though because it was extremely easy to keep it a secret!

I'm roughly 6 weeks, I could be more! But we aren't sure! I have a scan next week just to double check that I'm not further along 😬

& that's what's making it worse! Everything is open again and I keep getting invited to places and simply don't feel up to it 🤢 it's so hard keeping it quiet xx

edgylemons, I know exactly what you mean. I keep being invited out with my friends and my work wants me to start going back into the office too, they are also arranging a get together for the whole office (around 50 people). I don't feel up to it and also I am worried about covid still as who knows if the R rate will go up again or not now everyone is mingling.

I really relate - in my first trimester now and I found it so so hard in my first pregnancy in 2018.

You feel rough but don’t necessarily want to tell anyone and it can be really hard to keep a secret.

All you’ve got to go on is a positive pregnancy test - I often found myself wondering if I’d dreamt it or made it up, I kept doing pregnancy tests to check there was still something there.

And the anxiety about the rate of miscarriage and missed miscarriage and ectopics and other problems etc is all really stressful.

Anyway no advice but I totally understand!
