would you? im 22 weeks, have a nice neat little bump, still a size 10 and cant find a blommin swimming cossie that fits and doesnt look horrific (i have tiny boobs ) would it be within the relms of human decency to go to the pool in my bikini, just till im big enough to fit in a proper cossie. i did with dd1 when i was a young 20 yr old and had an even smaller bump and got some filty looks of some old cows

The filthy look are pure jealousy. You would get a look like from me as by 22 weeks on 2nd pg I looked more like a house

Go for it!!
Good on you for having the guts to do it.

Dont take any notice of the old cows there, they are only .

I'm too, I could no less wear a bikini, before I was pg let alone now

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 17/11/2007 10:03

Defo go for it. I love seeing pg woman, and even dp smiles a gooey smile at them. I'm sure the poor woman think he's the local nutter!

friends of mine who had could pull it off wore bikinis the whole way through their pregnancies and looked amazing (in a good way!). I couldn't do it, but I'm no size 10. I reckon you should go for it. I'd much rather buy a bikini than a maternity cossie if I thought I had half a chance of pulling it off!

I got a bikini for practical reasons when I got pregnant as then knew I wouldn't outgrow it round the tum! Snesible imo

magnolia74 · 17/11/2007 11:01

I wore a bikini for swimming for every pregnancy even with twins! I hate swimming cossies so a bikini was much easier to wear

zuzkah · 17/11/2007 11:23

Wear a bikini I say! I went on holidays when 30 weeks pregnant and wore bikini. Who cares what other people think? I got lots of encouragement from my DP, too. He thought I looked great and thats what mattered. Who says that just because you are pregnant you have to wear horrid black covering cossies?

wobbegong · 17/11/2007 12:04

Save money- wear a bikini! That's what I'm doing! It's the first time in my life I haven't had to suck my stomach in on the way from the changing rooms to the pool.
