Baby Getting Hiccups Several Times a Day - Normal?

I'm 29 weeks with my first and I only noticed baby getting hiccups about 2 weeks ago. I felt it every now and then, not every day. But the last week or so I seem to be feeling it increasingly. Yesterday he had hiccups three times, and he's hiccuping for the first time today right now. Are hiccups 2-3 times a day normal?

Saw it could be coughs as well? I’m 28 weeks and he does move a lot and sometimes kind of jumps one side to the other but I don’t know if he’s had hiccups or not

my first was very hiccuppy. but even they were not three times a day. they are still hiccupy now.

@sarah13xx hiccuping is a rhythmic tapping/pulsing

@BlackeyedSusan I'll keep an eye on it and if he keeps going 3 or more times a day may check with my midwife.

I would not know how much is normal and would ask. I used to think that if it appeared in a baby book then it was probably something lots of kids did.

Yes

@BlackeyedSusan it seems like it's fairly common, just wasn't sure how frequent was normal :)
