I'm so hoping someone on here can help me understand how much a short fetal length relates to eventual height...
I just had a growth scan today, and my baby boy's femur length has been rated as 14 percentile - which seems so low! My husband is a good height (5ft 11in) but I and most of the people in my family are short (5ft - 5ft 7in max) .
I'm wondering if my bubba is going to be shorter like my fam. We relocated to NZ some years ago so it also worried me that he'll could be much smaller than other kids here!
Does anyone know how much FL predicts future height? I've read that the mother's height has a bigger impact on boys FL in the womb, but that it changes post-birth depending on both parents Source.
I'm no medical buff tho, so could use others experiences/insights!
