Evaporation line

I took a clear blue pregnancy test this morning and I am 8dpo and within the 10 minutes I saw no line then around 30 minutes later there is now a thin line to the left of the centre of where the second line should be to make a cross. I am worried as I do not want to be pregnant and if it is an evaporation line

I believe the blue dye ones like Clear Blue are more prone to evap lines. I would try again tomorrow morning with a different brand if you can? 8dpo is very early - you would be best trying the First Response ones if you can get your hands on one of those?

A line out of the test time should be ignored, retest when af is due if it doesn't turn up.

Bit odd to be testing so early if you DON'T want to be pregnant.

Yeah I took the first response around 3 hours after I had taken this one and it is negative although I had eaten breakfast so I'm not sure if that would make that test less accurate as although it was still in the morning, it wasn't my first morning urine

@jasminexwetherby

Maybe wait a couple of days when you'll be 10dpo and try another First Response. Hope you get the result you want x
