Feeling deflated

So had a scan today due to them finding to much fluid last week at my placenta localisation scan they told me I'd probably be induced as baby was 5lb at 32 weeks so they weren't concerned about him being small etc.

Got to the scan I was there literally 2 mins and they said oh your fine just carry on the way you are and as much as I'm happy everything is fine I'm in so much pain all the time with my back and siatica ect I was hoping they would say they would induce me at like 36-37 weeks now I'm just left in agony untill he comes which could be up to 8 weeks away ☹️

Maybe it's just my hormones but I cried to my partner and not because I'm ungrateful as I'm very grateful and lucky to have a healthy baby just very fed up 😢

Sorry you are feeling sad OP. I had sciatica during pregnancy which was actually diagnosed as a herniated disc following pregnancy and know how painful it can be so how disappointed you must feel.
I found that alternating hot and cold packs on my lower back gave me a bit of relief.
Could you also ask your midwife/GP for a physio referral?

Wishing you the best with the rest of your pregnancy and hope your little one doesn't keep you waiting xx

I asked my midwife at my last 2 appointments for a referral and she said she can but I won't get the appointment before baby is here so not much point o requested this at 20 weeks so pretty bad that they wouldn't be able to see me in 20 weeks!! Thank you think I'm just tired and hormonal xxx

Get a support belt and/or go for a deep tissue massage, it'll really help the sciatica.

@Garman thank you I will look into them x
