Driving myself crazy

I am 4weeks and 3 days and driving myself insane. For the last week since I found out I have cried a good few times everyday. Some with worry (although this was v much planned) some with laughter or just because someone looked at me wrong 😂. So today I feel like I’m out of shock and am really happy but now I’m worrying something is wrong as I haven’t cried and that apart from nipple changes and occasionally feeling starving was my only symptom. Am I right to be worried something isn’t right?

First of all, congratulations! Personally, my only symptoms around 4/5 weeks was a bit of breast pain. Nausea didn't really start until about 6/7 weeks and now at 11+1 I can't remember the time before I didn't feel sick constantly!

Honestly, don't worry yourself by comparing yourself to others. Everyone is different and so are their symptoms (or lack of). I fully appreciate how worrying a time it is though... the first few weeks for me dragged so much and it seemed like an eternity until my 12 week scan. Time has started to get faster and suddenly my scan is next week.

Take care and try not to worry or compare yourself to others (easier said than done, I know!) x

@Colinthecaterpillar35 thank you. So you don’t think I should be worried that I’m not longer emotional? Do you think the emotions could have been shock rather than a symptom?

Aw I’m pleased you have your scan soon 😊

I really didn’t get symptoms til I started feeling sick after week 8. My boobs got a bit more full feeling and I laughed in the shower one day (before finding out) because I just knew I must be! But I didn’t ‘feel’ pregnant and still don’t at 28 weeks 😂 having the best time ever

@BellaBoo7 honestly I wouldn't worry about the fact that you don't feel emotional anymore, like you say it could have just been down to the shock and not a 'symptom'. Even if it was a symptom of pregnancy, symptoms come and go x

Can I jump onto this? Currently 7 weeks pregnant. From 4 weeks till 6 I had a lot of symptoms. My breasts changed feeling fuller and painful. I sometimes vomited and generally felt very tired and grumpy. Since Friday all symptoms have now gone. My breasts have gone back looking and feeling normal, no sickness and I feel 'well' again. I'm totally freaking out. I'm
Scared it's not a viable pregnancy.

@Colinthecaterpillar35 thank you I’ll try to stay positive

@sarah13xx that’s amazing

@futuremum234 for peace of mind you could get an early scan. I have one booked but it’s still 2.5 weeks away x

I had one booked for this Saturday but they have had to re arrange for next Thursday! It was the only thing that was getting me through it

BellaBoo7 · 18/05/2021 22:58

@futuremum234 😢 could you try to get one somewhere else? X
