I am so scared has anyone ever suffered with an ectopic before?? What was the pain like where was it?? Basically I had like light bleeding last week I went to the hospital as I have suffered two miscarriages in the past so they done my hog levels first one was 310 second one was 1020 they sent me home I got a scan on Thursday in 2 days time yesterday I started getting pain left side groin area sometimes a little higher I can't explain the pain it's like a dull twinge so I rang doctors today they told me to come in so I went in she just pressed around Tge area told me not to worry and go to scan on Thursday she also said if it was ectopic I would still be bleeding and because I haven't bled for just over a week that's reassuring but because I have this slight pain going on I can't help but think about it and sitting around doing nothing about it is really getting on my nerves and making me worry more any advice or experiences would be a great help Sad

Hi,
I’m so sorry to hear you are going through this. I had an ectopic last September. Symptoms can vary massively, but some people feel nothing at all!
I had light bleeding (more than spotting) for 2.5 weeks, whilst I struggled to be seen. They told me I was miscarrying and to expect to bleed ajd have pain. I mostly felt really bloated and just uncomfortable in my stomach. It developed with feeling quite a lot of rectal pressure... basically, it felt quite concussive to walk as it felt like everything was banging on my rectum.
I was examined on the Wednesday, when they found it had ruptured, but I obviously don’t know exactly when it happened. But around that time, I felt one sided pain really low down in my groin. My best description is that I felt really full... when I sat down, it felt like my organs were squishing together. Very odd sensation.
Some people have no bleeding though - it can vary so much. If I were you, keep pushing for a scan so you can know either way. The quicker they do it, the more chance they have of giving you medical management rather than surgery if it is ectopic.

Although to give you some home, I had my left Fallopian tube removed. Was told 3 months before trying again due to major surgery and I conceived first month after, from the left ovary, so when they say your fertility isn’t effected by 50%, they are spot on. Both tubes can service both ovaries.

Good luck - any questions, please shout!
