Morning sickness or tummy bug?

Hiya, I'm 8+3 and had mild on/off nausea up until the past 3 or 4 days where it has been constant nausea. I've not been physically sick but I'm wretching at everything and only managing to eat cereal. But I've had constipation for the previous weeks and now I seem to been having loose stools (not diarrhoea but definitely loose) and my tummy feels quite sore. It is common to have an upset stomach with morning sickness or is it more likely that I have a tummy bug? 😣

It sounds like morning sickness to me! I also had food aversions where the thought of a certain food would make me nauseous. I had morning sickness from 5 weeks until 16 weeks and only threw up once.

@Mamabear2221 thank you! Just worrying over everything after a MMC last year. My boobs have not been sore for about 5 days and now this is happening so I've been a little panicked it's a bad sign! The food aversions are crazy, especially when you don't realise until you're about to eat it that it's going to make you gag

@Stabal awww, I’m sorry to hear about your past MMC. Fortunately I have always heard that nausea is a good sign of a healthy pregnancy! I will say that with food aversions I always found it easier to buy smaller packages of food, because one day I might love it and then the next I would want NOTHING to do with it. So crazy what hormones can do to you!

Sounds like morning sickness to me!! Sorry you are going through this OP, it’s the worst. The good news is it’s a sign that all is well and still developing in there.

I would say morning (ha? All day!!) sickness too. I had an upset tummy from finding out I was pregnant til about 10 weeks. It was grim!! Eat whatever you fancy and SLEEP as much as you can! If it gets too unbearable see you’re gp as there’s lots of antisickness medications you can take safely
