Any sling recommendations that don't cost the earth?

For a stretchy wrap I'd see if I can get a second hand one as must people don't use them for very long.

If there's a local sling library near you, it's worth seeing if they can help - slings are quite a personal thing. What suits one person may not suit another. How old is the baby?

Another suggestion for a sling library or online hire service as the fit/preference varies.

I used a stretchy wrap until 12 weeks, a Connecta buckle carrier until 2 years then a Manduca for occasional use until 3.5 years.

I prefer buckle carriers and would move from a stretchy to Manduca next time.
