Clear blue test says 2-3 weeks

Hi I've just found out I'm pregnant took a clear blue test and it says 2-3 weeks but if I go of my last period it works out I'm 6 weeks tomorrow so it's making me so confused!
I want to book a early scan soon see if things are okay as I've had misscarages in the past but don't really wanna be paying £60.00 if they can't see anything
Do I just go of my last period and say I'm basically 6 weeks or go of the clear blue ?

Clear blue is really inaccurate, I wouldn’t even give it a second thought to be honest. Go off your cycle and not your test

6 weeks pregnant by your dates would suggest you ovulated about 3-4 weeks ago depending on your cycle length

The weeks indicator on the clear blue test looks at ovulation date.

It's quite inaccurate as it basically is just looking at how much HCG is in your system and nothing else.

I'd wait a week or so for your scan. Early scans cause so much worry as dates rarely match up. There is also not much to see at this stage.

Don't you need to add 2 weeks onto the date it gives you? So making you 4-5 weeks

My SIL took a clear blue and it said she was 3 weeks. She went to her 12 week scan and she was 25 weeks

As above you need to add the 2 weeks. Making you 4-5 weeks pregnant. Although clear blue digitalis are not always accurate for dating. Mine was off by a few days which I thought was good going.

Be warned if you ovulated later and your dates are behind and book an early scan you may not be able to see anything... this happened to me no baby and ? Ectopic which was terrifying!

But really It was jusy too early to see. I'm now 27 weeks so I would try to hold out for a bit before booking xxxx

If you are going in for a private scan I’d wait a few weeks as there are so many women who go to early scans and they don’t see much as they’re not as far along as they thought and then they get really stressed and there’s nothing left to do but wait to do another scan weeks later.
