Is this miscarriage over?

Started bleeding lightly last Saturday. Miscarriage suggested at EPU on Monday where they removed what they thought was pregnancy product from my cervix.

Miscarriage confirmed on Thursday via scan and misoprostol administered. Nothing happened until Friday morning when I passed two large 'things'. Now the bleeding has completely stopped.

At no stage was the bleeding as heavy as a usual period. I didn't have any pain.

Anyone know if that's likely to be it? I was 8 weeks pregnant but the foetus was only measuring 6 weeks.

Do you think I've got away lightly and I might not have any further bleeding?

I think everyone has very different experiences with miscarriage so there's no way of knowing. Have you been advised to take a pregnancy test at 3 weeks post miscarriage? I've been tracking mine and they're slowly getting fainter - had surgical management nearly 3 weeks ago now, I'm still bleeding/spotting slightly but know some people bleed minimally.

Also forgot to say I'm so sorry for your loss

So sorry for your loss. It could be all there is to it for you, but I'd be prepared for more bleeding for at least a couple of weeks. Get checked out if you don't test negative within another 2 weeks Thanks

Thank you @BaaBaaEmily and @thoselinesjustgetfainter - I have been advised to take a pregnancy test on 3rd June. I might do the same and track the strength of the lines between now and then.

I had prepared myself for masses of blood and waiting for that to happen has probably been the worse part of the experience.

I'm sorry for your loss too @BaaBaaEmily. It's tough, isn't it?

Hopefully it is all over and done for you. It's so so hard, it's just crap as as soon as you know it's a miscarriage you just want it over and done with. I never knew it could last so long for your body to process everything and no longer be pregnant. There's a miscarriage/pregnancy loss board which has loads of great support, which I've found really useful these last few weeks.

@BaaBaaEmily on here? I couldn't find a pregnancy loss board when I posted this but that would have been a better place!

Yes, it's under the Body and Soul category (not sure how to link sorry!)
