Clearblue Ovulation Tests

Sorry if this has been asked a million times 🤭 but I recently decided to try the clearblue digital tests and it has been shown the flashing smiling face for over a week.

So I am a little confused. The kit says the test will continue to flash until it detects a surge. So if the surge is missed, does that mean the test is flashing even though the hormones have disappeared for the month and actually I am not on a high fertile day?

If so - there is a real risk I will end up wasting test strips - thinking I haven't ovulated.

It would make more sense if the test went back to no face if the surge has been missed, rather than continue to flash.

I used the same tests in March I had the same problem I started testing at cycle day 8 and I had blank face that day the next day I had flashing 😃 for 7 days I was testing twice a day and we baby danced every night in them 7 days and then I got so frustrated on day 7 I was like ok that's enough so we did it one more time and then just forget about it and now I'm 10 weeks almost 11 weeks pregnant. But I never got my sold
