Title says it all really I found out today I am pregnant I had a emergency c section with my daughter only reason I had to have a c section with her was because I was labouring for 15 hours got to 10cm and she turned on me 🤦🏻‍♀️

Just wondering has anyone been in this situation before I know I probably won't be aloud a VBAC but has anyone had a VBAC this soon ?

I have PCOS never really get periods I had to have metformin and Clomid to conceive my baby as I don't ovulate often so this is a shock my clear blue test says I'm around 2-3 weeks pregnant so would that make me around 5 weeks pregnant ? I've heard I'm best of just going of my last period sorry for al the questions!

Congratulations. Yeah, probably 4 or 5 weeks but they will use lmp until a dating scan.
They may discourage a vbac but it will depend on your consultant really. Cesarean scars are often fully healed by the 6 month mark so I wouldn't worry too much about that. There have been other threads on this subject and many women having successful pregnancies soon after cs.

I fell pregnant a few months after cesarean but miscarried at 8wk, did a better job preventing pregnancy for years after that. Will be almost 6.5yr since elcs when this one is due.

My pregnancies were closer together than yours and they tried to push for VBAC. I had to beg for a planned caesarean so they'll probably be happy to do VBAC as long as your scar is OK.
The main risk that they warned me of was it coming open during labour but I've never heard of that happening.

Thank you replying yeah I'm going to see if I can have a VBAC I really hope I can as I can't be doing with the recovery time I was in so much pain from my Emergency section 🤦🏻‍♀️
I'll ring the midwifes tomorrow x

Sorry my daughter is 9 months old so this is why I think they won't allow me to have a VBAC
