Hi all
Thought I would share my pregnancy with everyone and have a thread so we can all talk.
So I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby. Still early stages. Baby is due December 28th...

@Curlymam88 aww hun, I might be wrong but your scan looks like mine. Go back down to my scan and have a look myself or do you want me to post it again lol

@LAR96 I think the machine makes such a difference, the ones I had at 10w privately were so blurry, and I was so surprised at how clear these were! We got given about 11 which I was so surprised about.

My gut says girl as I think the head shape is so different to my sons 12w scan

Arrr I see what you mean the head shape looks different to the other pic u posted. Aww look how cute baby looks... you will be fine hun. We are all here to support you x

Oh wow! Is this your first? The first due date they gave me was Christmas day until my dating scan. Well, at least you know it's unlikely to actually be born on Christmas day!!

@jade0881 I could see what you mean from your scan. They do look very similar. Im going to try stop thinking about it now!! I'm driving myself mad.

hahaha I have been driving myself mad for weeks! Not long till we all find out, then we will be driving ourselves mad ready for the 20 week scan :D

@hporter10 no hun this isn't my first this is my 5th pregnancy. Had 2 MC. Got 2 daughters 12 and 6. Yes that right I haven't had my children full term or over due date so I think maybe before Xmas

Hello ladies I’m hopefully gonna be a first time mum originally from London but emigrated to the US - I’m 14 weeks pregnant had my NT test came back at 2.1 freaking out! Having a genetic test done next week to rule out DS - anyone else have the same concerns? I would love to hear from you all.

@JW2021 2mm is still very low! I think the buffer here is near 3mm x

“It was a high part of normal “why do these people do that don’t they know all they do is freak everyone out!

@JW2021 bless you - i think 2.1 is within range but it’s easy too worry. Are you having some more bloods tests done to rule it out?

Yes Myriad genetic test next week - but the turn about time is 10 days - agony! I’m only 34 so not High risk (I think it’s 35) so of course my private insurance doesn’t cover it - oh the joys of living in Florida!

@JW2021 oh no! I had a harmony test (similar, I think) and had the results in 5 days so it can be quicker!

Hi! I am late to this group, as not long joined mumsnet, but it’s so heartening reading this thread to hear other women going though similar experiences!

First of all, congratulations to you all! I hope you’re all well.
I am due 28th December too with my first child. It’s so exciting but scary at the same time.
Tiredness comes in waves for me and I can be really hungry and only manage to eat portions! Also, do food aversions go away at some point?lol I’m missing some of my favourite takeaways haha

@JW2021 hello and welcome. Also congratulations. Aww what an exciting time. I wouldn't worry to much hun. I'm still awaiting my results as I only had my done Friday just gone. I'm 14 W 2 days and die Christmas Day. This is my 5th pregnancy but had 2 Mc's I currently have 2 daughters

Me too Christmas Baby - Dec 25th!
No Turkey for us this Xmas! I hope to be way too busy……anyone else had the genetic test after the reg NP test mine was (2.1) - it’s normal practice in the USA - btw I miss ‘Fish & Chips big time!!! 🤣

@Blah90 welcome ☺️ It’s a very nervous time but trust your body and soon the time will fly by!
Not sure on food aversions, once the 2nd trimester is on full effect you should feel better but it’s not always the case. I feel you on the tiredness tho, I feel tired to my bones atm!

Ha yes, I’ve never known tiredness like it! Yes I’m already feeling less nauseous, so pleased to have reached the 2nd trimester.

@JW2021 aww how sweet is that. I think I will be before Xmas day. I'm not to sure about the tests. I know I got tested for downs and another one. I'm pretty sure it's been the same with ladies too.

@Blah90 I can also relate to the tiredness everyday I feel exhausted. I got sleep around 12am, wake up at 7am to sort children out. Do school run. Come home eat my breakfast and take my vitamins then I sleep until 13:30. So school run again, come home do dinner and then I'm sleepy again.
