@LAR96 oh gosh that must be hard. Toddlers are difficult at the best of times let alone if you can’t do things the way you quite want to.

Don’t stress about the parenting techniques either. You will feel much more at ease with your baby and likely he will probably adopt things that you do without realising xx

LAR96 · 21/06/2021 10:46

I hope so! Didn't realise it could be this hard!
I think it has just been one of them weeks haha!
Thank you!

tuxedocat · 21/06/2021 10:59

@LAR96 it deffo doesn’t help being tired, hormonal and just wanting some peace either 😂

LAR96 · 21/06/2021 11:07

agree! Haha :D

jade0881 · 21/06/2021 15:32

@LAR96 and @tuxedocat aww bless you both. Sounds like you have both had a rough night. Hopefully tonight will be better for you.
Today isn't a great day for myself. Nothing to do with baby. Just my brother in law and mother in law. Been so hard today. I've not long finished crying. Xx

@jade0881 Monday Blues!!! I hope you're ok?? xx

jade0881 · 21/06/2021 15:53

@LAR96 yes defo is hun.. well I'm not to great to be fair. My brother in law had a ruptured aneurysm and has been in hospital since last year July. He has now taken a turn for the worst and isn't doing so well. Doctors have told my sister and his family to go up as they don't know how long he has left... he is only 23.

As for my mother in law well she had brain surgery on 7/6 for an aneurysm too. The clipped the aneurysm it now she has been in hospital with so many problems. Her sugar levels went up to 27.5, speech is slurred. It's just been a nightmare

Oh @jade0881 I’m so sorry. I’ve had family troubles health wise the last year and it’s really tough. Take each day as it comes and look after yourself too. Get those emotions out it’s the best thing. Thinking of you and sending a big hug that the next few days are more positive xxx

jade0881 · 21/06/2021 16:54

@tuxedocat thank you hun means a lot. Sorry to hear about your troubles too x

Just checking in!

I'm 13+1 & doing ok, still really nauseous in evenings & like you @LAR96 I have had a tiny bit of very pale spotting a couple times, only on wiping & no cramps etc, just hoping its nothing to worry about!

jade0881 · 22/06/2021 14:43

@gizmo167
Glad all is well.. hopefully nothing to worry about. Just check in with midwife xx

@gizmo167 hope all ok! Easier said than done isn’t it!

I had my dating scan today at 13+5 and everything is great. Baby was very stubborn but with some hip wiggling we got everything and saw hands, feet and lots of stretching ❤️

jade0881 · 22/06/2021 15:46

@tuxedocat aww that's nice... was you able to see what gender baby is?

OP posts:
LAR96 · 22/06/2021 15:54

@gizmo167 mine stopped after 24 hours and was only on wiping, my midwife said it isn't normal but common! should be okay if no pains

tuxedocat · 22/06/2021 15:57

@jade0881 no sadly not! I probed the sonographer but she said nothing haha!

@LAR96 tricky isn’t it. I’m not sure how I feel about the vaccine, I think I’m going to wait until 20weeks at least before I decide properly. I read one thread about a woman’s friend who miscarried at 30w after the vaccine and it’s scared me a little. There’s no right or wrong is there and it’s hard to choose what’s right for you. My husband had his a few days ok, he’s been fine except a sore arm luckily!

LAR96 · 22/06/2021 16:13

@tuxedocat so difficult!

still haven't made my mind up 100% but warming to the idea of having the vaccine.
A few of my friends have had it pregnant and have been fine, I think their is more of a risk getting covid its just very scary when you have a baby growing inside of you, Being due in December too is when bugs will be flying around and the 3rd trimester is the riskiest so would like to get it before then, if I decide to! x

tuxedocat · 22/06/2021 17:25

@LAR96 I hear you on that, it’s almost the worst time to have a baby isn’t it with it all going on? So tough having to make such a big choice x

burtle4 · 22/06/2021 17:44

I'm literally the worst at decisions and it's one of the hardest I've ever had to make! I'm leaning towards getting it done when I'm around 24 weeks when baby is mostly developed but just growing. Then getting my second dose in October when the bugs start to pick up again. Problem is, if the baby ends up with any developmental or learning difficulties I'll always wonder if the vaccine would have had something to do with it 🤦🏻‍♀️

jade0881 · 22/06/2021 17:45

I won't be getting vaccine whist pregnant. I'll just have to be extra careful

burtle4 · 22/06/2021 17:47

@tuxedocat Congratulations on the scan! Yours sounds a lot like mine where baby was being very uncooperative and I had to do a crazy hip shake to get it to move 😂

@gizmo167 I had some spotting last Friday, EPU was amazing and had a slot free to scan me and they couldn't find a cause for it. It cleared up by Sunday, hopefully you'll be the same x
