I'm 20 weeks and have had constant nausea all the way through so far, resulting in weight loss, being unable to work and hospital admissions. It's made me very depressed and anxious about leaving the house.
I've taken Cyclizine since week 6 and I take 4mg Ondansetron in a morning now since about week 12ish.
The hospital wrote HG on my notes.. has anyone been diagnosed with HG without vomiting?
Has anyone gone through nausea to this extent and it eased before the end of the pregnancy?

Hello, I'm afraid I don't know the answer but wanted to reply to your post as I am in a similar position, unrelenting nausea but no vomiting. I have started cyclizine but it only seems to take the edge off first thing and then nausea builds as rest of the day goes on. I have barely been out of bed for over a week, can't work or take care of my two little boys ☹️. Have you been in contact with pregnancysicknesssupport.co.uk? I had a live chat with them and they were great at giving advice and support. They didn't seem phased by the fact I "only" had nausea like you say. Might be worth a contact if you haven't already. Hoping things improve for you xx

@Koko1308 I'm so sorry to hear that and unfortunately to know exactly how you feel. How far along are you? I have been in touch with them and have a lovely volunteer that texts me support x

I had HG on my sick notes for constant severe nausea and intermittent vomiting with partial relief from cyclyzine (mostly controlled the vomiting and gave be a couple of hours per tablet where the nausea eased enough for me to function).

I queried it to the GP, I apologised because I wasn't as bad as many with HG and felt a fraud. His answer was that it was HG but with successful medication and was a positive reflection on the GP care as they had kept me out of hospital, which is the aim.
