Overdue and fed up, anyone else??

I've tried so hard to stay positive, but I am 40+4 and I think I'm starting to loose the plot.
I expected to have had a baby by now.

Anyone else fed up?

aww i remember when i was feeling like that too. DD was 10 days late (ended up for an induction). i was so miserably fed up but once DD arrived...i was ssooooo happy..it was worth the wait

Good grief Molly, yes!! I've been on leave since 34 weeks (i'm now 38+3!). Loving my time off.

Good to hear RG, I was on the November thread with you but it goes so fast that I couldn't keep up

i was on maternity leave from 38 weeks...i didnt have any twinges, no BH, was not in labour, just a quiet affair really...but once i got to 40 weeks i felt my life was on hold!

BigLips, I've had loads of twinges, and a couple of times I thought labour was starting and I've had a couple of shows, but then all went quite. Although the baby is moving loads, it doesn't look set to make an apperance anytime soon.

Hello ladies! Im due today. Never had any BH or anything else. Saying to myself and hoping that it means when the real thing comes it will be it. Im starting to be a bit impatient too. However, still thinking positively...

I had backache last night and some slightly painfull BH, so thought I was on the way, but all has stopped now!!

GoodGollyMissMolly - Don't worry. Take it as a sign that the body is getting ready for the real thing! It'll happen sooooooon I feel for you though. Go for a walk and keep yourself busy. Wishing you all the patience in the world! ;)

Hi GGMM - How are you today? Ive seen the new thread FOR you and at first thought it was FROM you! Was so happy for you just to find out it wasn't you who had the baby!
Anyway - I find a bit annoying how friends and family keep asking every day about the baby, sometimes even a few times a day! What about you? And btw hope your mum is better now. x

ha ha, I know which thread you mean, Jbck had her baby, so happy for her.

My mum is so much better now thankyou, it turned out to be gall stones, so nothing life threatening (SP?)

Well I have been in labour since 6am, with very sporadic contractions every 10 minutes or so, now they are aprox 30 minutes apart but very stong and about a minute long.
I had a massive show at about 12.00 noon (icky). So YAY I'm really excited.

Ooooo GGMM!!! How exciting!!! Very of you tho, i have to say! Keep us posted!

Don't like starting new threads, bit too scarey so I'm hijacking this old one but I'm overdue and fed up. Got a stubborn LO who's far too comfy to make an appearance.

Sick of being pregnant raises hand but not yet overdue.9 days till EDD.
