I know Mumsnet is not an obstetrician, but:

I'm 31 weeks pregnant and today I've felt a deep, internal downward pressure. I don't recall having this with DD but I may just have forgotten!

Has anyone experienced this/do you know what it might be? I'll call my midwife tomorrow if it doesn't stop but it just feels a bit weird.

It could be baby turning head down! I felt a similar pressure just before turning 32 weeks and the midwife confirmed he'd moved head down.

If you're worried though definitely give the midwife a call for advice!

I'm 30 weeks and I have the same pressure / throbbing down there in my vag area, my MW said it is because the baby had moved into head down position (applying pressure on my cervix) and growing larger, nothing to worry about. Doing pelvic exercises will ease the pressure.
