We have an 11 month old boy who turns 1 on the 15th of June and I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant! Due to have a c section on the 6th of July. Luckily my partner has 6 weeks paternity to help whilst I recover from the c section, I'm feeling reasonably calm except for a lot of mum guilt that I won't be able to pick up my boy for a little while after the op.

We're currently in a flat but have had an offer accepted on our very first home and are hoping to move in around September time when our new baby will be a couple of months old. What are your top tips/buys to make life with a newborn and 1 year old easier?

No tips I'm afraid but thats the exact difference between me and older sister (12 months and 2 weeks), firstly I'd say its ideal in that we grew up as best friends and shared toys/clothes etc
My mum also said that it didn't feel much different after a few weeks as we napped at same times and went out in double buggy together etc

I didn't want to read and run but hope someone will be along with actual tips soon :)

Thankyou for replying! Good to know it worked out well for you guys! I must admit it's great we've not had to buy anything for the new baby and I'm hopeful they'll be really close 🤞
