Two sacs one baby?

I had a scan today and it showed two separate sacs which one has a healthy baby with a heartbeat. The other sac is smaller but nothing in it. The lady said it may be a bleed as that's why I bled for a few mins. (Brown blood)

I'm 6 weeks and 5 days. Could this be a bleed or a developing twin? The ultrasound lady wasn't sure and had booked me in two weeks to have a follow up/scan.

I had this, bleeding around bfp time and brown spotting, had a scan at EPU at 6+4 which showed two sacs, one with a baby with a HB and one empty! I am now 13 weeks, nothing ever developed in the second sac and it has almost disappeared from the scans now! Remaining baby is doing just fine! 😊 Hope this helps

Hiya, are you able to update your outcome? I’m in a similar position! Xx
