3 weeks pregnant (I found out early) but I feel sick, warm and have cramps in the stomach.

Should I be concerned or is this normal?

Are you sure you’re pregnant? You must’ve ovulated like a week into your cycle?

Oceans123 · 13/05/2021 19:30

Yep I have 5 positive pregnancy tests, 100% and it’s definitely not a late pregnancy that hasn’t been picked up as I did a test last week and it was negative

I was using early detection tests if that helps

The symptoms you describe are normal for early pregnancy.
Your last period was only 23 days ago... So I don't understand how you csn be 3 weeks pregnant

Bythemillpond · 13/05/2021 19:32

I would say normal.
My first indication I was pregnant was throwing up from about 2 weeks.

Oceans123 · 13/05/2021 19:34

@Hyacinth88 I thought pregnancy was counted from your last period so that’s 3 weeks and 2 days?

@Bythemillpond did you have awful sickness is this a sign it’s going to get bad?

I hadn’t even missed my period.

It happened again with 2nd pregnancy.

The wave of nausea was overwhelming.

I spent 5 months with my head stuck down a toilet and lost 2 stone in weight.

Oceans123 · 13/05/2021 19:46

@Bythemillpond nooooo I have had HG before but it didn’t start this early. Maybe I’m in for a rough ride 😢

@Oceans123 it is, but it’s just very very unusual to have ovulated that early

Generally ‘textbook’ biology says you generally ovulate at the earliest 14 after your period then implantation generally occurs 2 weeks after that. And then you get a positive test. Every woman is different but I have never heard of anyone I know ovulating and implanting that early Confused

How long are your usual cycles?

Oceans123 · 13/05/2021 20:22

@Cornishandproudofit yeah I know I’m odd haha I’ve had early pregnancy tests before too then I get moved forward at my dating scan by a few days. Erm cycles are around 28 days so I must ovulate early!
