Hi

I'm currently 10 weeks pregnant and the last two days iv had a dull pain in my cervix no bleeding or had any cramps but today Iv noticed a pain in my bum is this just a normal part of pregnant pregnancy?

I can sympathise with you as I have exactly the same thing & have had it constantly for 7 days. I went to EPU on Monday & they did a scan, the baby is fine but they don't know why I've got the pains. My GP prescribed me lactulose but I'm having no problem going to the loo so not sure why he's done that 🤷🏼‍♀️

Hoping someone else comments who has some experience as I'm at my wits end now!

Yeah it's a weird one I had my first scan last Saturday it was a private scan and baby looked gr8 and had a strong heart beat but I'm back into the hospital next Thursday for my scan at the hospital so if it's still there I'll ask. Yeah I'm having no problem either going to the loo I even went last night and this morning. The pain went in my cervix after a day so I'm hoping this will do the same

I guess there's so much going on in our bodies at the minute; ligaments stretching, hormones all over that it's probably normal & nothing to worry about. Feel like every week I get some new aches & pains, the joys of pregnancy ☺️

AmySH1267 · 13/05/2021 15:48

Yeah same every week there is something new. I had a missed miscarriage last year and I'm so sensitive to everything now even after my scan last week I'm so nervous to go to the hospital next week.

I'm exactly the same, TTC to conceive for 10 years, had a ruptured ectopic in 2017 & mc last year so feel like I'm hyper aware of everything. I was so anxious before my 12 week scan, I'd already had 3 scans prior to that & I was still worrying. Don't think I'll relax through this whole pregnancy!

AmySH1267 · 13/05/2021 16:07

Totally get ya I don't think I'll stop at all the fact that I'm going to be in the same area in the hospital where they told me last year is playing on my mind and I can't have my Fiancè with me just makes it harder.

If it's a shooting pain, it's called javelin arse 😆 seriously. It's a completely normal part of pregnancy, as well as lightning crotch xx

JackJack84 · 13/05/2021 16:45

@Houseofvelour javelin arse!! 😂 Such a perfect description haha

Was there anything that helped??

@AmySH1267 yeah I found it hard being back in the hospital, lots of bad memories. I'll keep everything crossed for you that your scan is all good news Thanks

AmySH1267 · 13/05/2021 16:47

Haha brilliant name for it lol 😂

@JackJack84 aw thank you very much 💐

I never found anything that helped unfortunately. I think it's just one or those things tbh. Lightning crotch was the worst for me 😂
